Brenda Gordon


Brenda Gordon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Arts and Advertising Design from the University of Maryland. She was employed as an Art Director with a notable advertising firm in Georgetown while freelancing as a muralist and faux finisher. Major commercial clients include Dulles Corner, Avenel, Kettler Scott, the Library of Congress,  Sutton Place Gourmet, the Marriot Corporation, and Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Know for her magnificent trompe l’oeil effects, Gordon’s award wining murals have been featured in Elan Magazine, Mclean Connection, Forbes Magazine, and The Patriot News. Drawing upon inspiration from nature, Gordon’s work conveys a particular feeling or mood associated with each of her landscapes. She is keen to translate moments that often happen with the blink of an eye onto the canvas. Gordon currently resides in Delray Beach, FL and shares studio space with her sculptor husband.
