At The Meridian Art Experience (“The mAe”):

  • We won’t ask you for personally identifying information (“personal information”) unless we require it to fulfill your transaction or online experience.
  • The mAe may share your name, email address, and order details with our partners who may fulfill one or more products for the purpose of customer service, order related correspondence or follow up.
  • If your purchase contained licensed content, like a logo, we may also have to provide your sales information to the licensor, but only in the event that they audit our sales or royalty calculation.
  • Otherwise, we don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our services.
  • In our service, we aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what’s visible to the public, kept private, and permanently deleted.
  • It is the policy of The mAe to respect your privacy regarding any personal information we may collect while operating our website.


To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a 256-bit encrypted Comodo SSL encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Gathering of Personal Information

We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.

Certain visitors to The mAe choose to interact with The mAe in ways that require us to gather personal information. The amount and type of information that The mAe gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. We collect this information from you in order to fulfill your order, send you order status updates, product updates, and respond to your customer service requests. For example, visitors who purchase products through The mAe’s online store are asked to provide a name, email address, mailing and billing address, and phone number. In such case, The mAe collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with The mAe. You can always refuse to supply personal information, with the caveat that it may prevent you from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Payment information is stored securely on third party payment provider’s data systems. We are not responsible for your personal credit card information and have secure access to that information only through secure tokens provided by the payment provider.

How Can You Access and Correct Your Personal Information?

Subject to the exceptions provided by the applicable law, The mAe will make available to you any specific personal information about you that it has collected, utilized or disclosed. Most of your personal information is available to you through your online account profile. If you require other information, please request the information by contacting The Mae. Please also provide us with details to help us understand your request and conduct our search for your information. We will need you to verify your identity before searching for or providing you with access to your information. We will respond to your access request within 30 days upon receiving all necessary information, or advise you in writing if we require additional time. Simply send your request for access to The mAe by email at the address set out below. We will use reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal information is kept as accurate, complete and up-to-date as possible. The mAe will not routinely update your personal information, unless such a process is necessary. In order to help The mAe maintain and ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date, you must inform The mAe, without delay, of any change in the information you provided to The mAe.

How You Can Protect Your Privacy.

Never disclose your current username, PIN, passwords or answers to online personal verification questions to anyone, or you could be liable for losses. No employee or agent of The mAe will ever ask you verbally or through e-mail for this information. Making sure that The mAe has your most up-to-date address or contact information will help protect your personal information from being misdirected. To protect your privacy online, you should, among other things, clear your browser’s cache after each session, use a firewall, and use up to date software to protect your computer from viruses, malware and spyware.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, The mAe collects non-personal information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The mAe’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how The mAe’s visitors use The mAe. From time to time, The mAe may release non-personal information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. The mAe uses cookies to help The mAe identify and track visitors, their usage of The mAe, and their website access preferences. The mAe also collects potentially personal information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Aggregated Statistics

The mAe may collect information that does not contain personal information in order for the purpose of creating statistics about the behavior of visitors to The mAe. For instance, The mAe may monitor the most popular pages on The mAe’s website. The mAe may display this information publicly or provide it to others.

Protection of Certain Personal Information

The mAe discloses potentially personal and personal information only to those of its employees, contractors, partners and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on The mAe’s behalf or to provide services available through The mAe’s website, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors, partners and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country. The mAe may disclose personal information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when The mAe believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of The mAe, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of The mAe and have supplied your email address, The mAe may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with The mAe and our products. You may change this setting in your account preferences.

The mAe takes all reasonable measures necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of personal information.


We may post on, any photos, comments or testimonials you send us via email or post via Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Google +, LinkedIn, Pinterest or other social media sites. If you wish to update or delete your photo or testimonial, please contact us.

Retargeting Information / Display Advertising

The mAe may implement and use Retargeting and Display Advertising provided by Google, Facebook or other third parties.

The mAe and Google Analytics features display advertising and remarketing/retargeting.

Visitors are able to opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display ads using the Ads Preferences Manager in Google.

Third-party vendors, including Google, show you ads on sites from across the Internet.

The mAe and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone’s past visits to a website.

Third Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by The mAe will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you may understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either yours or that of The mAe’s. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave The mAe’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or The mAe’s website’s Terms of Service.


When you provide The mAe with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Business Transfers

If The mAe, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that The mAe goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of The mAe may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Governing Law

This policy, and all related matters are governed solely by the laws of the state of Florida and applicable federal laws of the United States of America. Any dispute between you and The mAe or any other persons arising from, connected with or relating to this Privacy Policy, or any related matters (collectively “Disputes”) will be resolved solely in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

If there is any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy, then the parties will first use reasonable and good faith efforts to resolve such dispute, first by direct negotiation and then, if that is not successful, by mediation with a neutral third-party mediator acceptable to both parties. Each party will bear its own costs and expenses in connection with any mediation and all costs and expenses of the mediator will be shared equally by the parties.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, The mAe may change The mAe’s Privacy Policy from time to time, and at The mAe’s sole discretion. The mAe encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
